Week 10 brings the Washington Redskins (3-5) traveling south to face the Miami Dolphins (1-7) at Sun Life Stadium. The Dolphins found a way to put it all together last week to gain it’s first victory at Kansas City and have a little bit of momentum moving into this weekend. The Redskins don’t strike fear into anyone, but I believe this is a game that the Dolphins need to worry more about themselves than the Redskins.
With the 2011 NFL Draft now in the rearview mirror, the time to look back has arrived. On Wednesday, we broke down the AFC East, checking in on the Bills, Jets, and Patriots, and seeing what kinds of players they brought in as they move forward towards next season.
So you remember how when you’re a kid and your mom always said things like “just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t mean you have to do it” and “if Johnny jumped off a bridge, would you?” Well, that’s kind of how I feel about mock drafts. Everyone is doing them. So I don’t really have to. But I think I kind of want to.
As we get set to wrap-up our week of coverage in Mobile, John Congemi steps up to break down some of the defensive stars of the week at the Senior Bowl. Check here for his analysis of the offensive standouts and keep reading to see who he thinks are the best defensive linemen, linebackers, and defensive backs.
Defensive Standouts, by John Congemi:
DL: Two defensive lineman caught my eye the first day of the Senior Bowl and after three days they were still practicing and playing at a high level.
North Practice, 1/25/11:
Day two of the Senior Bowl was a little more exciting than day one, as the North practiced in full pads this morning, and the offense and defense went right at it from the start.
As we get ready for the 2011 NFL Draft, the Finsiders have you totally covered. This week, the Senior Bowl is taking place in Mobile, Alabama, and our own John Congemi is on site to bring back the very latest on the stars of tomorrow. All week, John will file written and video reports from Mobile and will also call into our show.
