With the Dolphins now 2-0 and the win over the Vikings basically in the rear-view mirror, Tony Sparano met with the media today to discuss the win and move past Minnesota and onto the Jets. Unsurprisingly, the play of the defense was a major point of discussion, and in particular, the play of the secondary. The coach said that although the entire unit played very well, it was CB Jason Allen who graded out the highest.
For the final time before Sunday’s game at Minnesota, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano met with the media today. In a fun moment, the coach was asked where he was and what he was doing in the Fall of 1992, when Brett Favre began his consecutive-games played streak. The coach couldn’t even remember off of the top of his head. For the record, I looked it up, and the coach was the offensive coordinator at Boston University, which no longer field a football team.
