REPORTS: DT Earl Mitchell Expected To Sign With Fins

Earl MitchellWith two starters at defensive tackle in Paul Soliai and Randy Starks hitting the open market, the Miami Dolphins had a hole to fill up front on defense. They’ve reportedly made a move to fill that hole in the trenches.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins have reportedly agreed to terms with former Houston Texans defensive tackle Earl Mitchell.

Mitchell, 27, has spent all four years of his career in Houston. He played in all 16 games last season for the Texans, starting in 14 and racked up combined 48 tackles and 1.5 sacks, career highs in both categories.
