The Miami Dolphins offensive line is in the midst of a makeover from last season. First, the Fins traded away Jonathan Martin, and then added a Pro Bowl left tackle to replace him in former Chiefs blind side tackle Branden Albert. Now it looks like they’re working on adding players to the interior of their line.
According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, offensive guard Shelley Smith, formerly of the St. Louis Rams, is visiting the Dolphins today.

Smith, 26, played in 14 games last season at the guard position for the St. Louis Rams, starting in two contests. Smith is primarily labeled as a road-grating type of run blocker, and did play under current Fins offensive line coach John Benton his rookie year with the Houston Texans.
