REPORT: Knowshon Moreno To Visit Dolphins
By on March 20, 2014 at 6:45 pm

The Miami Dolphins struggled in the ground game last season, ranking 26th in total rushing yards. Reports indicate they may be looking to add some more firepower to their backfield in addition to already bulking up their offensive line.

According to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, free agent running back Knowshon Moreno, formerly of the Denver Broncos, will visit the Dolphins in the next couple days.

Moreno had his best season as a pro this year in Denver’s record-setting offense, as the Georgia product ran for a career best 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns. Moreno was also extremely effective in the receiving game, as he caught 60 passes for 548 yards and three touchdowns. He’ll be entering his sixth season in the NFL in 2014.
