REPORT: Cortland Finnegan To Sign With Dolphins

Cortland FinneganYesterday, news broke of Pro Bowl corner and former St. Louis Rams DB Cortland Finnegan coming down to visit the Miami Dolphins. Now it appears that he could be more than just visiting Miami.

According to Albert Breer of NFL Network, Finnegan has decided to sign with the Dolphins.

Finnegan is expected to contend for one of the starting cornerback jobs opposite Pro Bowl corner Brent Grimes, along with 2nd year players Jamar Taylor and Will Davis.

Finnegan, 30, played in seven games in 2013, starting in five. In eight seasons in the NFL, he has made 601 combined tackles, picked off quarterbacks 18 times and has 78 passes defended.  Finnegan made the Pro Bowl in 2008 with the Tennessee Titans.
