This afternoon it was announced that Greg Likens will join the Dolphins as the new host of “The Finsiders” multimedia show starting on Monday, April 14. He will also serve as the host of The Finsiders Pre-Game Show and the 5th Quarter Post-Game for the Dolphins Radio Network.
“We interviewed several great candidates but Greg’s experience, knowledge of the team and ability to engage and entertain listeners rose him to the top,” said Claudia Lezcano, the team’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We are thrilled to have Greg join our strong cast of talent already on the show. Whether fans are watching on TV or listening on the radio or Dolphins.com, Greg will work to bring our fans closer to our team by providing an entertaining daily look at Dolphins and NFL related items.”
“I’m really excited for this opportunity to work with an extremely talented group of analysts and have some fun discussing Dolphins football with a passionate fan base that I look forward to interacting with on a daily basis,” Likens said.
Likens, a graduate of Syracuse University, comes to the Dolphins after working in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market for the past 8 years with stops at NBC-6 TV, 790 WAXY-AM and, most recently, 560 WQAM-AM. During his time at WQAM, Greg spent 4 seasons as the Dolphins beat reporter while also spending time as an on-air host, an update anchor and a producer for the Joe Rose Show.
The Finsiders show is broadcast live weekdays from 5-7pm at the Doctors Hospital Training Facility on 940 WINZ-AM, 1230 WBZT and Dolphins.com. The program can be seen on FOX Sports Florida daily from 5-6pm.
