Albert Assigned #71, Other Fins Number Updates

D336369D-FA70-4AFB-AEF3-842C43AFC395With the influx on new players via free agency, the Dolphins equipment staff is working overtime getting all of Miami’s new signings their jersey numbers for the upcoming season. Here’s a look at all the current new number designations for the four new free agency signings, and a change of numbers for one current Fins player.

Note: These numbers are subject to change before the regular season.

OT Branden Albert – Pro Bowl offensive tackle Branden Albert has been assigned #71. Albert wore #76 with the Kansas City Chiefs last season.

4/1 Update- S Louis Delmas has been assigned #25 – He wore #26 with the Detroit Lions in 2013.

CB Cortland Finnegan – New cornerback Cortland Finnegan has been assigned #24. He wore #31 with the Rams last season.

DT A.J. Francis – Second-year defensive tackle A.J. Francis has now changed his number to #96. He previously wore #90 with the Fins last season.

DT Earl Mitchell – Earl Mitchell has been assigned #90. Mitchell wore #92 with the Houston Texans in 2013.

3/21 UPDATE- OG Shelley Smith– Smith will wear #64. Smith previously wore #66 with the Rams in 2013.
