Wallace Absent From OTA #2
By on May 29, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Wallace practiceThe Dolphins kicked off their second voluntary Organized Team Activity (OTA) on Wednesday, but one of the team’s big free-agent acquisitions, Mike Wallace, was not on the practice field.

Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin declined to address Wallace’s absence during his post-practice press conference — as is his standard operating procedure — but the Miami Herald’s Adam Beasley reports that Wallace was tending  to a “family emergency.” The receiver’s absence was not injury-related.
