Tannehill’s Production On The Rise
By on December 3, 2013 at 6:03 pm

090913-tannehill-actionThe Dolphins have hit the home stretch in the month of December and production from quarterback Ryan Tannehill will be counted on over the next four games. The second-year quarterback has thrown for more than 300 yards in back to back games for the Dolphins making it four on the season, and his 3,115 yards tops the list of signal callers drafted in 2012. He also ranks first in attempts and completions, and third in completions and touchdown passes of second year quarterbacks that have attempted a minimum of 150 pass attempts.

If the Miami offense can generate movement in the running game like they did against the league’s best rush defense in New York, Tannehill can distribute the ball on time and accurately through the air. The quick passing game helps the big fellas up front and gets the football into the hands of our playmakers on the perimeter. The Pittsburgh defense will bring pressure, but pressure also presents opportunities for chuck yardage plays that this offense must take advantage of this Sunday. Tannehill’s production over the next four games could be the difference as each win will make the next opportunity more important, hopefully leading the Dolphins closer to becoming a playoff-bound team.

For more on Tannehill, watch his interview with The Finsiders as he joined them in studio on Wednesday afternoon.
