Sturgis Up For Rookie Of The Week

SturgisDolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis is a nominee for NFL Rookie Of The Week after going a perfect 3-for-3 in his debut last weekend at the Cleveland Browns.

Sturgis’ long on the day was from 49 yards, and he connected on both of his PAT attempts.

The kicker’s competition for the award includes Geno Smith of the New York Jets, Eric Reid of the San Francisco 49ers, E.J. Manuel of the Buffalo Bills and Kenny Stills of the New Orleans Saints.
