By on March 20, 2013 at 9:58 am

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay BuccaneersA couple of days after Jake Long’s departure to St. Louis and a day after the Dolphins re-signed veteran OL Nate Garner, the team appears ready to move forward with more moves up front.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that former Hurricane (and Texan and Chief) Eric Winston is visiting with the Dolphins today:

The 29-year old was originally Houston’s third round pick in 2006 and has started every game from 2007-2012. There are other connections to the Dolphins besides his time spent in Coral Gables: Winston’s brother works in the Fins’ scouting department and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman held that same position for the Texans when the team drafted him seven years ago.
