Last night’s preseason game against the Texans will have an impact that reaches well beyond a Saturday night in August. FOX Sports’ Alex Marvez reports that Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury suffered early in the game.

Keller signed with the Dolphins this offseason as a free agent and the former Jet was expected to play a big role in the Miami passing game.
The Dolphins currently have four other TE’s on the roster: Charles Clay, Michael Egnew, rookie Dion Sims and Kyle Miller.
