REPORT: Clemons To Re-Sign With Dolphins

ClemonsThe Dolphins made waves on Tuesday afternoon with the reported signings of a pair of AFC North free agents — Mike Wallace and Dannell Ellerbe — but it appears they have also reached a deal to retain one of their own free agents.’s Jeff Darlington reports that the Dolphins have agreed to a one-year deal with saftey Chris Clemons.

Clemons is coming off his best season as a pro, starting all 16 games for the first time in his career. The 2009 fifth-round pick racked up a career-high 98 tackles and added two interceptions. The 27-year-old Clemons has 185 total tackles, three interceptions, nine passes defended and 1.5 sacks during his four-year career.

    Brandon Myers. Sign Brandon Myers. We need a TE now that Fasano isn’t here and Myers will be a steal for the price we can get him for. Trust me. He’ll be as good or better than Fasano and younger.
