Locker Room Cameras Coming To NFL Stadiums In 2013
By on April 3, 2013 at 1:17 pm

coachAs the NFL looks for creative ways to continue to ensure that the in-stadium experience is as attractive as possible to fans, news came out today that the league will require all teams to install video cameras in their locker rooms for the 2013 season.

Sports Business Daily’s Tripp Mickle reports that “the move is part of an effort to improve the experience of attending NFL games by providing fans with footage and entertainment that they can’t get at home.”

He adds that the footage can be shown both on the stadiums’ video boards as well as team apps.

Additionally, teams will now be mandated to show replays of all important plays on the video boards, in order to give the fans in attendance the same access to video and information that television viewers receive.
