Finsiders Awards: Play Of The Year Announced

110712_ReggieOver the course of the Dolphins 2012 season more than 2,000 individual plays took place. Among the plays, there were many memorable moments for Dolphin fans from Marcus Thigpen’s 72 yard punt return touchdown in the season opener to Reggie Bush’s nifty 12 yard reception in the corner of the end zone against Buffalo in the home finale. However, in a selection process that combined fan voting with the choices of the Finsiders analysts, Reggie Bush’s spectacular 18 yard run was selected as the Dolphins Play Of The Year for 2012.

9/16:/12 Raiders at Dolphins– Reggie Bush breaks numerous tackles and gives the Dolphins a lead the team would not relinquish with a 23 yard 3rd quarter touchdown run:

9/16/12: Raiders at Dolphins- Reggie Bush breaks loose down the left sideline for a dynamic 65 yard touchdown run to help pave the way for the first win of the Joe Philbin era:

9/30/12: Dolphins at Cardinals- Trailing by one in the fourth quarter against Arizona, Ryan Tannehill and Brian Hartline connect for an 80 yard touchdown to give the Dolphins the lead:

10/28/12: Dolphins at Jets- In the first quarter of a crucial AFC East contest, Jimmy Wilson blocks a Jets punt that Olivier Vernon recovers in the end zone for a touchdown to give the Dolphins a 10-0 lead on their way to an impressive 30-9 road victory:

11/4/12: Dolphins at Colts- In the second quarter of a 10-10 game, Reggie Bush eludes many Colts defenders as he jukes his way to a nifty 18 yard touchdown run:

12/9/12: Dolphins at 49ers- As the Dolphins faced a crucial 4th and goal in the fourth quarter against the 49ers, Ryan Tannehill turns to tight end Anthony Fasano who makes a tremendous one-hand touchdown reception in the corner of the end zone:
