The week 3 injury gives you all you need to know about who is in, who is out, and who is anyone’s guess. Each week I give you the last minute info you need to know so you can have the best chance to win your fantasy league.
Pierre Garcon (foot) is listed at out, and will not play Sunday against the Bengals.
Kellen Winslow will be active against the Ravens, but isn’t worth playing in fantasy leagues right now
Marques Colston (foot, questionable) is going to play today, and should be in your fantasy line-up.
Brandon Lloyd (thigh) is still questionable. According to the beat writers that cover the team, they believe he is going to play. I’d put him in your line-up.
John Skelton (ankle) is listed as questionable; Kevin Kolb is the starter, but someone to avoid in any fantasy format.
The hamstring injury Ed Reed sustained Monday night is not considered serious, and he should be on the field against the Patriots. Those in IDP leagues can stick him in your line-up.
Broncos SLB Von Miller was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a hip injury. The Broncos defense is a top 10-12 play this weekend.
Greg Jennings (groin) has officially been listed as questionable, but word is he “looked like himself” in Saturday’s practice. I would stick him in your line-up as a solid WR2.
Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited for the second straight day Friday, but is likely to be on the field. I have him as a flex option this week.
Austin Collie (concussion) is listed as probable for Week 3. Until he proves he can be productive with Andrew Luck, he is a low-end flex play.
Dwight Freeney (ankle) is listed as questionable, but has not practiced all week. He is almost a lock to not play, and the Colts defense will suffer because of it. Even with them playing the Jaguars shaky offense, the Colts defense is not to be played in any format.
Dustin Keller (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Darrelle Revis (concussion) is listed as probable for Week 3.
Jeremy Maclin has not been ruled out, but is highly unlikely to play. At best he will come back in week 4, but I would prepare for a game or two after that just to be safe.
SS Troy Polamalu (calf) and OLB James Harrison (knee) are out in Week 3 versus the Raiders. Despite missing two star players on defense, they are still a top 5 fantasy play this week.
Jonathan Dwyer (toe) is officially listed as probable for Week 3. He is a low-end flex play this week.
Antonio Gates (probable, ribs) practiced again on Friday, and is going to play on Sunday. Gates is a top 3-4 fantasy TE.
Steven Jackson (groin, questionable) remains a full-blown game-time decision Sunday, and will be a low-end RB2 if he plays. Should Jackson be declared inactive, rookie Daryl Richardson would get the start and is not worth owning or playing in even the deepest of formats.
Check back all the way up until game-time as I will post updates in the comment section.
