Veteran Matt Moore started last week’s preseason opener against Tampa Bay after David Garrard was found to be injured the day before the game.
Coach Joe Philbin had said all week that he planned on having Tannehill in a game with the first team offense against the opposition’s first team defense but declined to specify whether that would take place against Carolina, which it appears it will.
The game kicks off at 8pm from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Click here for information on how you can watch and listen to the game.
