Ryan Williams is quite familiar with the Dolphins’ home field of Sun Life Stadium. This past November Williams ran for 142 yards and 2 TD’s on just 14 carries in propelling Virginia Tech to a 31-17 victory over the University of Miami.
Williams ran for over 1,600 yards in 2009 for the Hokies, but only ran for 477 yards in 2010 due to injury and a 3-back rotation implemented by Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer. Williams is expected to be among the top 5 running backs taken in the 2011 draft, most likely being selected in the 2nd round according to the latest projections.
