Carroll Looks to Contribute on Special Teams
By on October 15, 2010 at 10:00 am

The Dolphins have had a week to regroup after a couple of tough losses at home that forced them to make some changes on special teams.

The special teams unit will need to come out strong against the Packers as they try and help the Dolphins offense with better drive starts and pin Green Bay’s deep within their own territory.

One player that may help in the return game is rookie Nolan Carroll.   He saw action during the preseason and was reinserted on kickoff return this past game.  He knows how important fighting for the extra yardage is to the team’s offense.

I talked to Nolan about the team’s focus after the bye week, also about the approach special teams has to take on game day, and how confident the team is having already secured two wins away from home.

You can watch the interview with Nolan here:
